Nice Work.

The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is because I felt the snares you used were too flat. Everything else sounded so full and meaty, but those snares were the wrong fit, I think.

This would be perfect in a video game. I kept imagining that this would fit well into a scene where you're fighting your way towards a boss, killing all his insignificant lackeys.

VelociD responds:

It's not supposed to be game music, but I woulnd't mind if someone used it in a flash game ;).

Thanks for your review.

NIIIIIIIIIIIICE.

Needs more convincing drums, but, you know, the guitar rocks the house, so it's no biggie.

Penis-Monster responds:

Kind of used the original drums, just redid it. That's probably why it isn't all that convincing. Didn't give the drums my own twist. Thanks for the review!

ZOMG

This song really changed my life. Well, not really, but it kicks ass. A LOT OF ASS.

Klawd responds:

gee, thanks ^^

Only one thing.

I can't give this a 10, but it's only because you could be using better samples for your instruments. Other than that, it's top-notch.

durn responds:

aye, still using the pre-packaged reason samples for my live instrument samples. time I started investing in some better soundpacks. :) thanks for your honest opinion.

Fix the cymbals.

This sounds decent, but you needs to use a more convincing sample for your cymbal, it's really taking away from the overall effect. Also, the growling is mixed way too high.

aveus128 responds:

yah i dont do the vox, usualy its my buddy, let him record some, i'll try to get a better cymbal somewhere, fl studio doesn't have a good selection for metal

Pretty good.

Good guitarists already know what they did wrong before somebody tells them, so I'll spare you the finer details. It needs a LITTLE more technical polish, and you really and truly need to get the right FX on both guitar parts, it really adds a lot.

Still, I liked it, so a 7 for you. Keep at it.

Kool-Aid responds:

Thanks, i'm actually gonna fix the recording and add a few effects myself.

haha, very nice.

I like this one a lot. It almost seems like the kind of song that would have been the intro song for a show from the 50's/60's.

Tombor911 responds:

haha Yeah!

Huh. Not so good.

This was... pretty poorly done. The concept is a bit done to death, and to honest, all that was brought here was shoddy guitar work. People say this song isn't "hard," to play, but just HITTING the notes doesn't mean you're playing it well. There's not really any other way I can put it. I imagine you were new guitar when you recorded this, but seriously... not everything needs to be published. Sometimes you wait until it's, you know, actually good. Sorry, man.

Tombor911 responds:

Eh I am actually good at guitar but I only spent about ten minutes to learn this and then recorded the whole thing.
Check out my other pieces!!! (They are Waaay better!)
